Random Static Books
Random Static plans to publish a range of top quality original science fiction. We're starting with the revival of the Faction Paradox line, a superb shared world series whose earlier volumes comfortably met our high standards. We hope to match the calibre of the existing Faction Paradox works.
Our medium term plans include the publication of original SF works outside the Faction Paradox range. We are not interested in publishing non-fiction, fantasy (although the "sufficiently advanced technology" maxim may apply), or works with no SF content. Our focus will be on quality, not quantity.
Random Static releases will be available directly through this web site, other online booksellers, and various physical book stores.

Unsolicited Submissions
Professionally published writers who'd like to talk to us about writing for the Faction Paradox line or submitting a general SF novel for publication may contact us via email.
If you haven't previously been published, you may send a submission by post to PO Box 10104, Wellington, New Zealand. A submission should consist of a one page cover letter, and a one page extract or sample of your writing. If we like your submission, we may get in touch and ask to see more. Submissions from unpublished writers of more than two pages or sent via email will be discarded unread.
